G Shock

Love the G-Shock but don't have one yet. Will be looking for one. Tons of guys have them, and I love that there's basically every flavour of style and colour that you can get to your heart's content.

Really? I've got a couple, but they are tools, not objects of desire. Backup timing for diving. They work very well and other than batteries needing replacing, I have never had any problems.

I quite dislike the busyness of the carbon core guard.

My brother just got one, it looks nice. I am not planning to get a new watch as my old G-shock series still works fine.

I have a couple. I have a DW5000 that I’ve worn most days for the past 11 years. It has a bit of road rash on the case shell and will soon be on its 3rd band. A while ago I also got a titanium one from 1996, the MRG-1.

Many models have "solar" charging. So no battery replacement needed. Will charge in all types of light. Natural and artificial. Even fluorescent lights!

There are several models in the carbon core series with more coming. With the introduction of carbon fiber now,. Their new models in many cases are smaller, thinner, stronger and lighter. Imho,. Some of them are quite striking

I love watches, I just cant get my head around G shock. Just too much going on , Tokyo skyline at night styling.

If anyone is into smart watches, I've had an Amazfit Bip for a couple of weeks and like it. Heart rate & sleep tracking as well as step count. Get's text messages shown as well as any other notifications you choose and the battery lasts over a week with 30 minute interval heart rate monitoring.

All for $105 on Amazon.ca. The thing's not the size of a house either … slim too.

So much want:

when it stops working it's bed time ;)

I'm not into watches, but if I was I'd get one of these:

Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar II

Wife just got a Fitbit Charge 3. Loves it!

I HAD my eye on that piece as well. Funny you posted it. At the end of the day, the Casio won me over at more than a third of the cost of the Tissot

Nice...I like that G-SHOCK very much.

I have a Casio pathfinder watch, solar powered and it’s one of the newer slim versions, not the old ones that was like having a 2x4 on your wrist. I love it, I keep the pressure display on at all times and it’s been really good at helping predict weather changes. It’s the Ana/digital version as I think a watch should have hands.
