Cool bike for the money. But MV is automatically on my do not buy list. I’d be way to concerned about finding parts, someone to service it (most stuff would be fine it’s just a motorcycle but if you have to get into any kind of programming it could be a challenge) and a really tough bike to sell if you ever wanted/needed to.

To each their own but too many other good bikes out there for me to roll the dice on one.
 
Parts supply? MV Agusta has never built and sold a machine in larger numbers then the triple and almost all components on the F3 675 and F3 800 are identical.

Interesting that many are convinced an MV Agusta is hard to work on :/ it's just a modern, liquid cooled, Fi gas engine built to very high quality standards and the rolling chassis is built with top quality components that are shared with many other better brands! The suspension is Marrzocchi and Sachs, brakes are Brembo, tires are Pirelli, transmission is a cassette type unit that was designed for fast changes. Exactly what parts scare people to work on?

"programming" Holy it's just a motorcycle not a mainframe, the program that is on it is just dandy.
I'm not worried about resale, I intent to leave mine to my grandson.

I wouldnt be concerned with working on it, but given MV's instability, the possible lack of parts due to a bankruptcy or restructuring is always on my mind more with than most of the other players. Just because marzocchi made the suspension doesnt necessarily mean it will be available if MV stops selling it.

That being said, I'd own one. They make me happy.

I bought the first F3 I could find and at that time I gave it a 50-50 chance that the company would go under the following week, I am very impressed they are still around and have even expanded their bike line. But then I also have owned Montesa motorcycles since 1976 (one of less than 400 made worldwide) and weird bikes like a Scorpa, so unusual brands don't scare me much. MV Agusta has been around since 1945 and the F3 is in what, its 7th. year of production? It's not a rare bike.

If you love it... buy it. Call the dealer, have them prepare the bike, take the bus to Sudbury, have the dealer pick you up then ride her home!

i would love to do that but i don't have the luxury call time (need to look after my two kids on the weekend) :). I just made the offer of $6300 plus tax ship to my house.
 
Yes, but probably way more performance
 
You don't have to rev the engine on takeoff, just feed it some clutch and then roll on the throttle to accelerate at any rate you like, if you come on strong the front wheel will loft in pretty much any gear so exercise some throttle control until you get accustom to the power. Rear suspension will probably be way stiff compared to anything you've ridden before. Brakes and tires are awesome even in wet or on gravel, you will like that. As I said, they are hot blooded and like lots of forward motion to stay cool. Do not adjust the chain without a torque wrench and torque to exactly the force specified. Fuel up frequently. Ride awesome (y)

Just done with the insurance yesterday and sent it to the dealer. Hopefully they can ship it soon. Insurance for this MV is nut, Echolon(rider plus) doesn't accept it, Desjardin doesn't accept it (i think they thought it is a super sport bike ?) State farm (rider plus) wants $2300. Call my cars agent instead and it is $1400 and I thought my car agent always give me a high quote. And i only paid $1050 for my 2017 SV.
 
Just received my renewal for my 2013 MV F3 675, is $861
in theory that is a great rate, yippee :| I feel so safe now and financially compelled to ride more to get my money worth (y) great plan insurance company.
