Hi All

I found this part between my Ducati 695 monster and Suzuki GSXR 600. Not sure if it belongs to any of them. I looked at both bikes for something missing and was not able to find anything.

It has a spring inside of it and you can push the pin in and out. Any suggestions what it is or where it came from ?

Lol. Sorry I can't help you, but I guess the feeling you get from this is worse than when you have left over screws after you assemble Ikea furnitures eh?

It’s driving me crazy. I’ve circled both bikes and crawled underneath them with a flashlight and can’t figure it out.

Plunger could be a brake-light switch. Fiddled with your front lever or rear brake pedal lately?

Checked the brakes and clutch. Nothing missing

Is it near the exhaust cable flap at the bottom of the muffler / Cat convertor?

Spare part.

I have a Duc and I've had 5 late model GSXR's and it doesn't look like a part I recall seeing on any of them.

Looks lawn & garden grade, not automotive grade.

Maybe a part from a snowblower or lawnmower. Something adjustable with detents or a clutch/engage overload mechanism.

Process of elimination: Check everything else in the garage; some aspect of something else in the same space probably isn't working right.

How big is it? Can’t tell without a reference like a tape measure or a coin.

Also, what is the inner diameter where the spring is and is it threaded?

What bikes do you have...might help narrow it down?

Any chance it’s something off a seat latch mechanism or similar function?
