Riding my 1987 Honda CBX250 to Gananoque for coffee
It finally cooled off with moderate humidity.
I was going to ride the same route on the 1987 Honda CBX250 and 2008 Honda CBR125 to do a comparison.

Unfortunately I sold the CBR125 before I got a chance.
I did get chance to test ride the CBR125 for 25 km over some of the same route so I established a bit of comparison.
The weight of the two bikes are almost identical at about 280 lb.
Rated HP of the CBX250 is double that of the CBR125.
The seat hight of the front seats are again very close however the tail of the CBR125 is much higher.
The CBX250 definitely has more torque but the CBR125 does rev faster.
The suspension is much smoother on the CBX250 and I found the CBR125 a rough ride.
I was riding with my full face helmet without the visor on.
At speeds over 75kph on the CBX250 there is sufficient air on my chest to take load off my arms and the windshield deflects the bugs over my head.
The CBR125 is FORM OVER FUNCTION.
The advantage of the CBR125 with fuel injection is the ability to start and drive rather than the CBX250 that has a carb/choke that needs to warm up first.
This was by no means a scientific comparison with my opinions and I am sure a lot of people will disagree.
