There's modern homemade and period homemade....lol

Ancient Aliens is somewhat interesting, but the same stuff gets rehashed under different titles.

reruns of Barney Miller and MASH

If by chance you grew up in the UK or have British relatives and understand what the “troubles” were about in the 80s and 90s then Derry Girls on Netflix is brilliant. It’s great comedy set around a subject that wasn’t funny at the time but that lends itself to satire now. I binge watched the entire season today.

Also, a warning, if you’re not used to the accents (strong northern Irish) you might need subtitles.

Thanks I’ll check it out .

Escape at Dannemora and S3 of Frontier both recently finished up. Escape at Dannemora was slower paced but interesting with great character development and acting with Patricia Arquette, Paul Dano and Benicio del Toro. Frontier with Jason Momoa continued the action (it was quite graphic at times) and the early fur trading Canadian and Colonial history roots are very interesting. I'm hoping for a S4, and reportedly so is Momoa.

Binged this new show called "You" on Netflix. Creepy, but very good. Reminded me of Dexter to some extent.

Binged thru the 6 episodes of Derry Girls yesterday. I loved it, hubby hated it.

Man Down on Netflix. You’ll either love it or hate it as it’s a particular type of absurd British comedy. I loved it so much I binge watched 4 seasons of it over Xmas. Some “cry laughing” moments. For anyone that knows the name, the late Rick Mayall has a part in the show for the first season. Plenty of foul language too, it’s definitely adult comedy unless you want your kids to learn some new words.

Finished up Mayan's M.C. Was good, much different then Sons of Anarchy. Not much M.C stuff more other things and not much riding. Good seeing bikes, just made me wish to get out on mine.

Worth checking out.

+1 Mayans S1 was excellent

Binged 2 seasons of Kim's convenience ... Fantastic light hearted Canadian comedy on Netflix. Must watch! Season 3 comes out today I believe.

Caught the first episode of "Project Blue Book" last night. When I first heard about it I had a sneaking suspicion how it was going to go, but I was hoping for a new take on the '70s TV show "Project UFO", which did dramatic re-enactments of records from the US Air Force's program called, rather unsurprisingly, Project Blue Book in which the investigated civilian and military sightings.

My original gut feeling was correct; they're going the X-Files route instead of something like the original, while still claiming to be "based on actual events." Not my thing.

Through about 5 episodes of Derry Girls and enjoying it as it the wife.

Also watching Marvelous Mrs Maisel on Prime. Better than expected.

Yup, I'm convinced the character in silhouette with the hat is Fox Mulder.

I'm going to try one more episode to see if it improves.
