^ Yep.

I started riding back in 2004, and I've seen the gestures as far back then (the "OK" circle was the most common back then), probably goes even further back.

As for me, I change it up a bit here and there sometimes I go down low sometimes I go up high. 2 finger salute, peace sign, some times the 2-handed Jay-Z ROC illuminati eye symbol.

Do you really expect everyone to wave to each other especially when you are in a area populated with bikes e.g. weekend ride in the Forks area?
Pay attention to the road.

Waving was for when bikes were far and few in between not every 30 seconds.
How stupid do some of you sound, uhhh rider didn't wave back at me...boooo hoooo

Very true. You could always start a thread about new first bike, insurance, oil, winter air in tyres, Helmets. The list goes on and on and on and on. Lol, of course.

I had one greeting my bud and I once as we were all heading toward the same direction, even after passing us and a good distance towards us, he was still holding that same greeting position ... one of the reason of the confusion, I was:"Maybe it's something else than a regular greeting"? But it all makes sense now as I see it more often on the road.

I started that greeting long time ago, so please wave back and don't forget gl and cruisers.

Some dude last year gave me a full on "Heil Hitler" too..... I was so caught off guard. WTF! I much prefer the low peace wave!

This thread got me thinking. ..it's hard to see a wave at night so maybe I should make some gloves with leds in them.
