Forks crack down

If you want the Maracan gov't to have your finger prints & retinal scan! No thanks, I'd rather wait in line.

In line they have your facial image uploaded to a NSA database, besides, millions cross the US borders every day. Guvmint paranoia is a US thing.
On the other hand, the CDN government with CSIS will monitor your Facebook account and assign political affiliation, and ban you from political rallies, that has actually happened.
I prefer NEXUS/GOES not be used by tourists, it works now because business travelers know the system and the consequences of breaking the rules. Use NEXUS to smuggle up stuff without declaring and you could end up on a no entry/no fly list.

Sure there is a small chance that they replace you with government replicants but its not to much of a risk.

No, I just don't want the implications of staying in a hotel room that happens to be a crime scene 2 days after I leave, or some other such thing. I go to the US once or twice a year. I travel other places a lot more. Too many mistaken no-fly-list incidents to warrant the risk. Plus if the CDN govt doesn't have my finger prints, why should the US. Staying low profile is a good thing!

And I haven't been by the forks in a couple years. Too bad that others are ruining River Road. I do like that road!

It's a shame. Then when a group of them posts here and people reply to the videos of their horrible riding we get called bullies and infractions or bans. Good times. Let riders ride and make a mess out of what few decent roads we have.

4 different people pulled over between forks and Caledon on hwy 10 midday today. They're definitely out watching

Entered River road via Primrose(Extension of Highway 10) Saw a few cagers pulled over. Crazy to speed, almost guaranteed to chance a ticket.
Ran River road, a few times, only saw 1 Harley and 1 sports bike. Great weekdays.

Wonder if that was your good-self, heading South on Prince of Wales. Multi-colored helmet. Maybe an AGV/ Suomy?
We where going in opposite directions.

Nope. I just did a quick rip across hockley and back. You're right though, much better during the weekdays

10 Sideroad west of Mansfield is a nice section too and makes for a nice tie-in to River Rd. There is a hairpin that isn't terribly sharp (I even hesitate to call it a hairpin), but it's easy to get in hot as the road leading up to it is pretty steep. I pulled a kid and his Virago out of the ditch there on Saturday while on my way to a wedding. He'll be spitting up gravel for a week and have some nasty scars, but he at least didn't make the news.

The best way to get between 10SR and River Road is via 2nd Line. It is the road on the east side of the valley with the "hairpin" and runs north from 10SR right into Terra Nova. It was paved a few years ago and IMO makes for a nicer ride down to River Road than Prince of Wales.

I only do the Forks, if I happen to be going to the West side of Mississauga. And then it is only because Mississauga Rd from the north, ends at the Forks, just east of Belfountain and doesn't pick up again until after I ride south from Belfountain.
There are LOTS of great roads north of Hockley, but all the really cool ones go North and South and aren't paved at all. :)

I'd be more concerned if the same guy got pulled over 4 times between forks and Caledon on hwy 10.

Just heard another rider down on River Road area. That area is becoming the Ontario "tail of the lizard"
