Why Android is better than iPhone.

iPad 2 hooked up to a Vestax Spin Dj Controller(mixer), awesome. Airplay in mind for home use.

made specifically for Djay for Mac.

I am no DJ, but i love the hell out of music, and i have been using computer DJ software for maybe close to 10 yrs (hobby, played around in my house), and this Djay software, seems to be the most simple of them all, especially on the iPad, and also simple on the Mac, with a nice Automix feature(better than using iTunes, etc)....and this Vestax Spin is a bonus, where you have control..... being able to work on both the Mac and iOS.

Definitely my next toy, seen it before, but made up my mind, NOW.

in canada it appears only a few major cities have access to 4g lte. what's the point in having a device that connnects to it if you can't use it? most of canada is covered by "4G HSPA+" which is what the iPhone uses, by the time my contract is up and i get a discount on a new iphone they'll have rolled out the network and the new iPhone will be taking advantage of the network that is available then. why pay for unusable tech. plus the problem with the samsung is i'd have to use the android UI and i don't like the android ui, it reminds me too much of the ui i had on my htc touch pro winmo phone.

not to get all tech nerdy, but do you really feel that the 4s is a true 4g hspa+ phone? even apple 4s owners in this thread admit it's really still 3g, or 3.5g

does this mean a world of difference for the average user? no, probably not.

but it does for some. i quite like the fact that the phone i have now is relatively future proof.

rarely is the iphone bleeding edge in terms of technology. just about all of their products are about refining their user experience, which is excellent, and makes it just about the perfect phone for my wife.

playing catchup has its advantages. . .apple can see where others have mis-stepped and get it just right for their iteration. nothing wrong with that strategy.

No one came and mentioned the woes of the new Samsung Nexus about volume problems, or the new Nokia Lumia 800 battery issues.

Just to show how Apple products will always be the talk of the town!!!!!!

well that's how it's labeled on the various coverage maps from the phone companies... may not be technically correct but thats the marketing department's fault

I just want to report back that although I like my iPad2, it's not immune from apps crashing etc. It is very, very good, but not perfect. I love garage band, fantastic program. Some problems with trying to use data from one app in another due to Apple's walled garden, but on the whole really good. As a media player it's great, I have transferred quite a few movies and they all play great. Also have to admit that iTunes is only a slight PITA, not a total one.

this is Mac based.

Re: my homescreen

i've seen and been through almost every new phone you can think of (short of windows OS phones)... moved to Galaxy Note (5.3" SuperAMOLED)

apple nmakes a solid device, but no freedom ...android is my favorite ... and almost everything POSER showed the 4s doing is doable on a good android device...

there will always be this feud - just get what you want and enjoy it.

Clutter much? Would hate to see your computer. Apple added this great feature called folders, you might want to check it out.

I could remove the labels(or edit name shorter), but it doesn't bother me at all. I reduced the size of the icons, to fit on the screen. I personally love how I have it now(36 apps on 1 screen), don't think it is cluttered, it's just app icons for me to touch, i hate the folders, they are ugly, and you gotta open it to see whats in it, I can page them instead this way.

My Mac Air desktop has 2 folders only, which I also resized smaller, and my dock auto hides. So it's tidy.

A future proof phone? I think you're just deluding yourself. Five years from now, everything on the market today will seem like a silly toy, and today's phone will be sitting in a shoebox in your closet.

i only showed my homescreen, too much for me to list what my device can do, my pull-down notification center is crazy.... and i don't even have intelliscreenX yet, Springtomize 2, and Callbar.

i don't have the 4$, as it is not jailbreakable yet, i also had cancelled my pre-order from rogers, they were taking too long(my place in line).
When jailbreak is available, ill try to get one asap.
