2k9 GTAM Meet at the Ganny... let's organize a ride!!!

We haven't had an official GTAM meet at the Ganny yet this year... many of us have been, but no official meet has been organized...

A few of us chatting in the "unofficial chat room" (http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforum...ad.php?t=91578) have been talking about organizing a ride this year, so let's do it up!

I vote for a "newbie friendly" ride that supports riders of all skill levels - if we have enough participants, we can even split off into a couple groups to keep everyone happy.

I'm hoping July 18th or August 1st would work for an official meet - we can set a date depending on what suits everyone best.

So who's up for an OFFICIAL GTAM meet? Speak now, or forever hold your peace!!!

What do we require to ride there? I have a plate, and I know we need a pass for the trails, what about insurance?

Well, officially you need a green plate, liability insurance, a day-pass, and a sound-check score of 96 dB or less.

Unofficially - of all the times I have ridden the Ganny, only once have I been checked for paperwork - and that was by a Forest Ranger who only wanted to see my daypass.
