SuperMoto Bikes on Street

Hey Guys,

I'm looking to pickup a supermoto type bike for the street, but am unsure what kind of bike would be ideal. I have a 06 KXF450 which I will keep for track rides.

I was thinking DRZ400SM with an exhaust, fcr carb, airbox mods... or somthing else, like a KTM525 converted to street.

DRZ. Upside - Reliable, factory spec for street, higher oil capcity, lots of parts, possible 2up for short rides with the girl. Downside - 5 speed tranny, lower power output then KTM,

KTM. Upside - Massive power, comes with dirt tires on rims, and street tires on rims, 6 speed tranny. Downside - low oil capacity for street (may need to buy oil cooler), engine not made for street.

Anyone have some thoughts on this? Am I missing another type of bike that would fit the bill?
