Just wanted to give everyone looking to have their bike transported around the GTA area a hookup. I was recently was looking to have a bike I just bought moved and searched out a few different companies in the area, I ended up going with 'Express toy Transit'.
Rod (Owner and operator) was very quick to respond to emails and was very patient while I went through the whole BS of finding the bike, and trying to arrange for it to be ready for me to pick up (you know how those things go sometime...they don't), when I finally had my end together he was ready to go, even given some very short notice on my end. His trailer is very nice and maintained, he has some great equipment for securing the bike, the way he took care of it you would have thought it was his own. He also offers a number of other services like Roadside Rescue (Ie: If your bike breaks down, give him a call and he'll come pick your bike up) or picking up and dropping off a bike at the dealer from your house (If you don't want to take it for service and wait for instance). The service was really second to none, really nice guy who enjoys what he does, and does it well. Reach him at 1-866-211-1946 or www.expresstoytransit.com NOTE: I'm not related or affiliated with him at all, just a very satisfied customer who doesn't think you'll find a better service out there for the price |

I did my share of searching around for a tow, including spamming an innocent dozen or so members.
I can tell you that these guys wanted $50 more than two of my best offers from people here on the site. I saved myself the cash and didn't bother with those dudes. Glad you got a good experience, but next time you should shop around. Try using the Search function in the forum next time. Also, you might wanna post any further 'reviews' in the Reviews forum, not the general forum Congrats on the new ride, enjoy, be safe

Ah, I guess it really all depends where you are going from and to with something like this, I searched around and got a number of quotes from other companies, all of which were higher.
Just wanted to share my experience as well as my recommendation for a guaranteed safe transport and outstanding customer service. Sorry mods, didn't see the "Review" forum |

No problem of course man. As a general rule though, unless you're uber concerned about liability incidents in case of an accident, you don't always need to spend the extra cash goin' to a company.
There are plenty of people here who do very professional jobs. I've heard good things about rogue_wolf and Double d. You might also wanna consider getting a CAA Plus membership. It entitles you to 4 towings per year up to 200 km distances. It's only about $100, which is probably what you payed for your tow anyway. Just make sure you have the plates that go with the ownership if you take this approach.

I got a quote from these guys, and went the route of saving a few bucks and used Rogue Wolf. He did a GREAT job - bike was very very very secure (but I've never spent so much time looking in my rear view mirror while driving! Just paranoid about my first bike!). Brought it from Kahuna out to Oshawa for me, and gave me a few pointers on getting it ready to go.
I'd definitely recommend Rogue Wolf to anyone who's looking for safe transport. Like mentioned by adri, it depends on how you feel about liability issues with regards to anything happening, but he said he's never once had any mishaps with a bike he's transported. |

Is this company insured? If they are its worth a couple extra bucks IMO to have some kind of coverage, rather then some joe blow with a trailer. You never know it might not even be their fault, but if kind of accident happens whos gonna cover any damage to your bike?
I own an 14' enclosed trailer myself that can haul 3 bikes at once, and I dont know if I would want to haul bikes for strangers with no coverage for them incase something happened on the road... |
