Hi i was wondering if u guys have tips for installing frame sliders bc i dont want to pay 2 hours of labour. the sliders i bought need me to cut the fairing on my 2001 honda cbr f4i.

Here are a couple ways:

Laser pointer:

You can also make an imprint from the frame slider bolt on your heat shield foam or place playdough or a clay type material on the inside of your fairings to make the imprint on:

And if your afraid of the hole being rough after you cut it, Auto trim is an excellent fix to make a hack install look professional

sell those sliders and purchase no cut....you'll be glad

Please don't listen to this advice, no-cuts usually cause more damage then no frame sliders when put to use.
Cut sliders for the F4i are the best way to go.

never used sliders...no cuts are just easier to install...so i'd go with Jeff's advice since he knows wht's best

+ 1......No cuts require relocation brackets, that defeat the purpose because they just end up bending instantly....They also add leverage to the motor mount they are bolted too...

This BMW had no cuts....Slider was barely touched but still managed to bend the no cut brackets and crack the frame

The play dough method takes a little more time, but I find it very accurate for marking the hole location via center point of the actual mounting bolt head

I've got no-cut on my Wee. Never used them at speed, and don't know if I could get the other kind.
