Sure you can how rich are you because it will cost you!

Even if you somehow manage to get insured on an M1, it expires in 3 months. Then what?

IMO, even with an M2 and no past riding record or motorcycle insurance history, you're likely looking at paying 5-8k a year for a SS. The market of insurers willing to underwrite SSs is shrinking every year. This year we're down to maybe 3-4, AFAIK.

If you're loaded, you could try facility insurance.

R u trying to get your dad to insure your bike after your no insurance and careless tickets?

Yeah, this.

S1000, you should read up about "material misrepresentation". In the an accident the insurance company is going to quickly see through exactly what you're trying to do here and will immediately invalidate the policy.

That leaves you (or your dad, or both) legally 100% on the hook for the financials of the claim. If it's a few thousand dollars because you ran into someones rear bumper (for example), thats one thing. If it's a few million dollar lawsuit because you wiped someone out at a crosswalk (using but another example), you're on the hook for that one as well.

So ask yourself if you really want to do what you're thinking of doing. At best you ride and nothing happens despite the fact you're committing material misrepresntation. There's a chance the insurance company will find out what you're doing and just preemptively cancel your policy, at which point you have that on your record as well...which will drive your insurance prices up higher again since insurance companies don't take lightly to policy cancellations.
At worst, your entire family could be left penniless if you get sued into oblivion because there's an incident.

Sell the bike. Come back when your record is clear and try again. Or if you absolutely positively feel the need to ride (legally), sell the SS and buy a 250 cruiser or something - it's still going to cost you handsomely to insure, but you may actually be able to afford it legally.

Man you really are the gift that just keeps on giving aren't you?

Turning illegally riding without insurance to illegally insuring your bike through fraud.

Do you not know when to give up?

...or just throw in the towel on street riding altogether. You could do a full season of track days for a lot less than what you'd be paying in insurance.

is m2 more important compared to age profile when talking about rates?
No, the VIN of the motorcycle plus the owners insurance and driving history is most significant. Senior will need his full M license plus maintain a clean driving record for several consecutive years before it will become 'reasonably' affordable in Ontario. If you live in the same household and still hold an M license, your poor riding history will cause senior to pay large because of it right from the get go.

This. All of this. Sorry OP, one way or another we all have to pay for our mistakes.
If you sell the s1000rr, you may get enough to buy a grom and pay for one year insurance.

For those who have forgotten, about the OP, and his history...

OP, it is time for you to realize YOU messed up BIG, time. Do you honesty, believe that your the first person to "TRY" to "fool" the insurance company. Even IF the broker or agent, don't realize your SCAM doesn't pass the sniff test, and you SCAM your grand father, into committing insurance FRAUD, the second something happens, (not even necessary to make an insurance claim, as you have demonstrated in the past, it is only a matter of time, before your talking to an officer roadside), they will see the SCAM, and if they are a decently qualified officer, they WILL advise your insurer, as they will have access to your driving record right there on their in cruiser terminal.

Then, once the insurer, sees the scam, they WILL cancel your relatives insurance policies, (That is right ALL policies, home, car, toys, etc), then they will blacklist him as, having his insurance cancelled, and they MAY, even go as far as contacting police to lay a charge of insurance FRAUD. Meaning your relative and ANYONE else on his current policies, (IE wife, adult kids, etc), WILL all have to get insured via the FACILITY market. This means they may be paying 300+% over what they currently pay.

YOU screwed yourself do NOT drag others in to your hornet's nest of a life. give up the thought of riding ANY kind of SS for at LEAST the next 5 - 7 years, MAN UP and take the lumps that YOU created

Also, as someone else has already wisely pointed out an M1 last for 90 days then your grandfather is going to HAVE, take the road test, on your SS, (I am confident absolutely NOTHING could go wrong with that). Take this as a teachable moment, that some idiotic actions can haunt you for several years!!!
