You'll likely get a good deal here. But dont pay too much. As Newman said, you can regularly find "s" model wheel sets on kijiji for $500 or so.
Congratulations on the new bike by the way, I loved my drz.

Nice. Being cheap, I opted for a more dual sport oriented tire on the one I had. Did EOAR ride and had a blast. It was dicey on sand though

I went retro on this - 1982 SP125, the upgraded sister of a DR125 of the day. This was my dream bike in grade 8, I found an original with 2000km a few weeks ago -- all original, unmolested and never registered.

Spent about $600 to get all bearings, tires, cables, carb and new paint -- gonna have fun with the putt-put this summer.

U might have the wrong tires, pics look look like Shinko 705, they look good but are best suited for bigger bikes (DL650, Versys etc) that need highway performance, not so great on lower powered thumpers. For smaller bikes you're better with Shinko 244 or 700 -or- Kenda 270 or K760.

My vote is the DR. Bullet proof and tons of after market parts. I converted mine to SM form by using DRZ 400 front and rear wheel and forks. Pretty much as straight bolt and can be done in a weekend. Both wheels, and forks cost me $1300.
