    Recommendation on some accessories?

    Forum Sponsor
Hey all, So now that the new bike is in the garage it's time to do some small customization as I'm not a fan of the levers that are on the bike, or the exhaust. Anyone have some good recommendations for levers (shorty or regular) that would be a good replacement? Not the knock off cheap junk please.

Also curious if anyone can recommend an exhaust to replace the existing cannon? Not looking for silly loud, but something smaller, lighter, and a deeper sound. I personally like the look of this, but never heard of the Diablo brand. Thanks!

Still debating on options for luggage but may hold off a few months until spring.

I've had both Pazzos and CRG shorties on my bikes. They both feel the same, good quality, fully adjustable. I think it'll come down to a matter of taste and how you like the looks of them.

That exhaust looks pretty loud. As my rule of thumb, mufflers over 18" long will probably pass sound testing, mufflers under 12" long will probably fail. Obviously there will be exceptions to this rule of thumb.

Thanks guys will look into it. As for the muffler, I think you're right....I like the look but don't want it too loud as it's not for me. Too bad I can't actually HEAR it before I buy it.

I have a set of cheap knockoffs and a set of genuine Pazzos... I think the knockoffs are actually very slightly superior finish-wise. Pictures: https://www.wristtwisters.com/forums...ml#post1345491

I bought them from here: https://www.ebay.ca/str/tophome-glob...p2047675.l2563

I think what you are looking for is one that specifically claims to be street legal https://motorsportsnewswire.com/2018...nda-rebel-500/

Here's a YouTube video of the sound of that dcw twin pipe you linked.

Sounds exactly like a parallel twin with a pipe.

Awesome thanks for that Iceman. Doesn't sound too bad...I like that the exhaust doesn't stick too far out from the bike. The stock one just comes out far, and I already scratched it up.

    You like that sound?

I don't love it....but want a smaller/lighter exhaust that's not obnoxiously loud. This stock fat can annoys me. Too large.

And the bike sounds I love...cant afford those bikes
