Many years ago I owned a '97 Honda Blackbird (great bike). On the recommendation of someone here (I forget who) I took it to a place called DPE Engineering for a tuneup.
DPE was a small independent shop in the west end run by a fellow by the name of Dave Pauletto (sp?). Dave was a great guy and a helluva wrench. Very meticulous and reasonable. Apparently he used to be the head tuner for a professional race team before opening DPE.
Unfortunately, DPE closed and Dave ended up at Suzuki of Brampton. Of course that's gone too.
I'm just curious if anyone knows what became of Dave. He's far too talented to not be working on bikes any more; it would be a real loss.
