A man is hospital with serious injuries after police say he crashed his motorcycle - twice, before being thrown from it.
Police were first called around 8:45 p.m. to the area of Gage Avenue and Dunsmure Road for several 911 calls that a man on a bike was stunt driving and moving at high speed in the area, on the wrong side of traffic.
Police say a 50-year-old Hamilton man driving northbound in a Pontiac Sunfire was turning left onto Dunsmure when a Yamaha Motorcycle tried to pass the Pontiac on the left side.

Police say the motocyslist struck the Pontiac Sunfire, lost control and slid nearly 40 metres on the bikes' side along Gage.
The 25-year-old on the bike was able to pick up the motorcycle and left the scene - without his helmet.
The driver of the Pontiac was not injured and waited at the scene for police.
A short time later, just after 9 p.m., police say a Ford Pick-up truck driven by a 39-year-old Hamilton man was southbound on John Street South.
While making a left onto Main Street East, the truck was hit in the rear passenger side by the same Yamaha involved in the earlier collision, police say. The truck driver was not hurt but the motorcyslist was thrown from the bike.
Early Thursday, police say the man remained in hospital with serious injuries to his head, back and neck. Several charges are pending including dangerous driving, fail to remain and impaired driving.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit, which investigates serious personal injury collisions or fatal crashes was called in. The area was closed for several hours forinvestigation but has since reopened.

The CRU continues to investigate. Any witnesses are asked to call Detective Constable Jaimi Bannon at 905-546-4753 or Detective Constable Cruickshanks at 905-546-4755.
