The GTAM pop/cross culture catch-all thread

Nice. Here's another comedy bit and it's even crazier. NSFW and very funny.

Getting back to finishing about Elon Musk in pop culture, I recently found out he's dating Grimes who's a great Canadian music and visual artist with wide acclaim. I'd call her music style indie pop edm. I've previously posted her songs and videos here in the music thread. This reminds me again of Howard Hughes who was also big into actresses and singers (lots of parallels). Did anyone see the recent Grimes and Azelia Banks beef that Elon got indirectly caught up in? It's mentioned in the NYT article I posted before. Hilariously bizarre. Azealia is crazy it turns out and she got pisd at Grimes and started sharing screenshots of text message with Grimes about Elon on social media. Topics range from the size of Elon's member to weed to Tesla and russians, etc.

Azealia eventually apologized but even it's got some crazy. https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/hip-hop/8472249/azealia-banks-apology-letter-elon-musk
As you can see this made some major news outlet rounds, even Newsweek, lol. It also affected Tesla stock prices, etc. Crazy pop culture stuff affecting the real world. It reminds me why I'm careful with my communications. I don't do social media (incl no facebook) and try to be sensitive with what I text to others. Anyway, thought I'd share that funny Elon story.

Cheers

And gossip magazines aren't pop culture? they are the seedy mirror of pop culture

Apparently last week various newsfeeds were trying to tell me about something to do with Nikki Minaj and someone called "CardiB". I spent last week playing with preferences to try to stop that crap. All I want to know is what kind of surface to air missile might be used on the private jet carrying all these overhyped idiots.

Next. Anthony Jeselnik - All over the world. NSFW.

From wiki , "He is known for his dark comedy style, which emphasizes ironic misdirection, non sequiturs, biting insults, an arrogant demeanour, and a stage persona that frequently takes amoral stances." It's definitely more in your face.

Here's a favourite video of mine I'm finally sharing. This is ESPN sports talk reality TV commentary and they go for humour, insight and some crazy stuff. This is the 2017 year in review episode. I look forward to seeing the 2018 version at the end of this month. This show finds and broadcasts a lot of crazy internet content and this episode delivers here. Let me warn you now, parts of this episode can be quite disturbing. There's some things that can't be unseen (no gore or anything like that). I'm amazed some of this stuff was broadcast on Sports Cable daytime TV. I present it as a red pill blue pill type of choice and people still go for it. And they are typically fairly shocked with what they see, haha :D. Interspersed among this content are some epic go-pro and caught-on-video clips. It's a great but be warned crazy episode! :) Enjoy
