I am planning to do a full oil change before my ride this coming friday to Windsor.

Since purchasing the bike I've put probably around 1500km on it and given that I'm not really sure when the oil was changed before my purchase I think it would be good to do it now..(Don't flame me because I didn't full change it once I got it)

I'm a little unsure what oil to use and where to get it.. Canadian tire? Motorcycle shop? etc
I know I need 10w-40.. Does it need to be synthetic or can I use something like this?...

Any suggestions on better choices?

I'm going to get this filter...

and I'm going to drain the oil into this...

LOL

Preferably like to find this in East End Toronto..

most important thing is the oil needs to be JASO-MA approved - wet clutch
you can change viscosities based on season if you like
and some say synth is a waste of money, I still use it

expect to get flamed for an oil thread
read up on Rotella T6, cheap full synth 5W40
CTC sells it

I always use the Mobil1 automotive filters on my Honda’s, readily available at Canadian Tire.Your F4 would take the M-108.
