I push doing post ride checks on the bike so any defect can be corrected while one has time. That way there are no surprises when it's time to roll.
So I didn't and Saturday morning's departure got delayed while I trouble shot a brake light issue. Good to go with the brake lights from the pedal but not the brake lever. Gummed up switch. Fixed with contact cleaner. Fortunately it was just me on the ride.
Got to Perth late but OK. North to around Calabogie Sunday and just wandered around. Came home today via Perth Road and across PE County. Stayed at the Colonial House Motel. The rooms seem to be fully redecorated, not just a paint job.
