I would like to know feedback on 7” round chrome LED headlights , one on my bike has a halo for daytime, single led for low beam , 5 led for high beam ,, seems ok ,, looks good ,, projects a pretty good beam ,, but the low beam vibrated loose,, and it might take some thinking to repair it ,, with heat and vibration where I want to epoxy it,,

I thought there might be some positive feedback for a better alternative
I can’t seem to post a pic ,,,

Haven't found a decent aftermarket one yet. I find led does not project a good forward beam like the halogen...it lights up a large area alright.. just not properly in front of the bike...not great for nite riding out of the city

I have a Candlepower H4 conversion in the garage I can sell you. I am pretty sure it is 7" but can check if you are interested (it was in a 1982 CB450SC). The projection on it is phenomenal compared to the stock sealed beam.

...except those are car/truck headlights which have a bias to the right (in North America).
Motorcycle headlights shine straight down the road.

Perhaps......

but they say it can be applied to motorcycles...

When properly mounted, the lamp is designed to conform to the requirements listed in the Department of Transportation (DOT), FMVSS-108 and Transport Canada (TC), CMVSS-108.
Headlights marked with the DOT symbol signifies the lamps are street legal.
Excellent option for light, medium and heavy-duty trucks, off-road vehicles, classic cars, motorcycles and more.
Metalized reflector optics provide a lighting experience that smooth and clean across the driving surface.
Provides a brighter, crisper and whiter light output, closer to the color temperature of daylight.
Durability and dependability of LED lighting provides a solid-state, bulb-free headlight design that impervious to damage from shock and vibration.
Military grade, die-cast aluminum housing and non-yellowing, polycarbonate lens offer optimum protection against damage from impact, roadside debris and other hazards.
Electronics are sealed in epoxy to resist from damage caused by corrosion or moisture.
Advanced circuitry protects against voltage spikes up to 600V.
Drop-in replacement for #6014, 6015, 6016, H6024 and Par 56 headlight designs.
Uses standard, H4, 3-blade wiring connector.
Equipped with Truck-Lite 3-Year Limited Warranty.

"They" can say anything they want.
https://www.tc.gc.ca/media/documents/roadsafety/108_TSD_rev_5R.pdf

sections 7.8 and 7.9

Auto headlights have to be 2 degrees to the right.
If these are "drop in replacements for #6014, 6015, 6016, H6024 ...." they are auto headlights.

Most of these aftermarket lights are no where near "CSA approved" and some are downright dangerous.
Truck-lite has some approvals. I was looking at them for my old car. Couldn't justify the coin, and got some H4s.

Well whatever, I am sure they are way better than half the junk on E-Bay

At least they are DOT, and if the bike has headlight adjustment capability, I am sure one can adjust to meet standards that are required...and it will point where it needs to..

Hell half the guys (probably more) who drop in HID's into their vehicles are not compliant, other than for the cool factor......

if you want bike specific headlight 7 inch

go here and get the Harley one

https://www.denniskirk.com/harley-davidson/lighting-and-bulbs

heck it even has the halo effect....

or this

https://www.denniskirk.com/cyron/black-7-in-beast-led-headlight-abig7-b6k.p220059.prd/220059.sku

or any of the ones they offer

figure out how to mount it properly and you'll be good to go....

and for more options....

Interested in this as well... my CB919 has some terrible knock-off Speed Triple lights installed, that are so bad at night I would be better off holding my phone light in front of me. There are a bunch of LED assemblies on eBay but I am wary. I would buy a stock replacement but it's not cheap, and they seemed to be hard to come by used in good condition
