To those that don't know what the RC166 is:

1966 Honda GP bike. 250cc inline six, individual carbs, redline 20000RPM ish, 65hp, 7 speed gearbox. That will probably sell you on watching the video

Edit: It's in Japanese without subtitles though

Thanks.Does anyone else remember seeing it at the Ontario Science Center?I think it was there till 1979 and then taken back to Honda in Japan where it is today.

Very cool machine....but disassembly is easy...putting it back together and working....well that's the challenge....

I know the guy who resurrected it after it sat in the Science Centre. There's a cool vintage Cycle Canada article about it on his website.

He also built a 300hp hill climb bike based off a Benelli 6 cylinder engine in the 70's that ran on 100% nitro.
