427 NB Lanes closures for "Emergency Road Work"

Anyone here get caught in this last night or this morning? Took me 1 hour to go from QEW/427 to 427/401EB. I don't quite understand what is so emergency when the ramp to the WB 401 has been left abandoned in what seemed to be a state of repair, for so long. The thing has been falling apart for the past 5-10 years and construction seemed to be taking just as lone. Now they look like they are finally doing the work and does not seem like it is a quick "emergency" repair... What a ****** show! /rant

Saw one female rider taking to the shoulder to get by everyone. I don't condone it but I certainly get it!

yeah i was stuck in it last night at 11pm!!
and like you said, that ramp has been in bad shape forever!
When i heard 'emergency closure' on 680 today, i was wondering what it meant too!

    Did a chunk fall off?

It took that before council would spend any of the money they had set aside for repairs to the Gardiner Expressway.

Some bigwig's luxury car was damaged after a night on the town. Emergency road repair diverted the negligence lawsuit faced by the province.
If getting the bike ready and getting around with it means you'd rather take the car? You have the wrong bike.

I find that construction jobs take far too long and we never really know why. Unions? Red tape? The economic impact must not be enough for anyone to really care!

Is it on Doug's route to the cottage? He said he would make things happen.

I can't picture anymore what the south end of the 427 used to look like prior to the semi permanent mess
