Parking permit ?

Was wondering if bikes need a parking permit for residential streets. Some people say yeah some say no. I have one for my car on my street but I’m completely new to the motorcycle world and was just wondering.


Yeah it it sounds stupid of me asking but I just want to clarify it. I’ve searched online and haven’t found anything regarding it.

for overnight and more than 3 hours at a time in residential areas? yes you do. they're free for bikes anyway.

its for paid street metered parking that you dont need anything besides adhering to whatever parking rules are for that street.

+1, if you use a bike cover you can get away with not having one as the parking guys don't lift them up to check. *at least in my experience
