anybody have trouble parking here recently? I heard they may tow but the parking lot is usually madness. The island right outside of the movie theatre.

Only parked there a couple times, and only for a short time. I prefer to go into the underground at the southwest corner of the mall and park in the striped area on the north side of the escalator glass box just before the exit gates. But I'm not there regularly, so can't comment on ticketing.

I avoid that place as much as possible, do the same save yourself the headache.
They have started to crack down on TTC people parking and riding.
But otherwise that place is always full and a pain to get parking.
