What under layers do you wear?

The vnm gear is way too much at $100 per and im not sure if thats canadian or us dollar. My under armour was like 35 for pants 35 for long sleeve and 25 for short sleeve. The socks were expensive at 25 for 3 pairs but I like them.

My Hanes Cool-dri long sleeve shirts were about $11 each.

I have a heavier Nike of the same material I bought for $50 or so when the material first became popular and it's still a good shirt 10 years later - I use it when it's a bit cooler out.

But at $11 each....I've got 4 of the Hanes and they pack small and dry incredibly quick.

Good tech

and a wide range of colours and sizes.

Why would anyone pay 3 x the price for UnderArmor

I like Ex Officio for boxers but have not found a low cost alternative.

I have an adidas climachill T shirt that works surprisingly well. It has little metal dots on it that do a good job of cooling you down.

Well I want compression fit so it's like second skin under my uniform at work or under my leather jacket or racing suit. Anything loose just moves all around or looks/feels bulky...

I got tired of the high prices for pretty much the same items. There is simply not enough technology difference to justify the prices.

Seems I'm not the only one

Under Armour is in serious trouble - CNN Money

Oct 31, 2017 - The once hot sneaker company posted a surprise drop in sales as demand fell in the United States. Under Armour's outlook was disappointing

I found Old Navy DriFit stuff cost effective too.

Lol wife took me to winners but didn't find anything. As for old navy that's the first place I went but only 3/4 and I couldn't find any shirts long or short sleeve.

It's only money. I mean my wife and kids pull it off the tree in the back yard but I have yet to find the tree?

Totally agree although I do look carefully at seams to make sure they are flat and zero labels are good too, aside from that I’ve found a ton of gear at winners from all different brands. I’ve also bought a few replica soccer shirts from China that are actually really good riding shirts....added bonus that they have my name embroidered on the back too.
