If so, I recommend watching Bakuon!! if you haven't already:

Part of me is stunned that someone agreed to produce an anime that features at least six distinct and mostly technically correct motorcycles. That kind of complexity would be a character designer's nightmare

I prefer manga. My boys learned to read with Dragonball, Dragonball Z and Naruto.

last winter Olympics turned me into a bit of an anime fan

Does the Stig approve of the above?

Reminds me of my Motorcycle trip to Japan...but with more schoolgirls.

My rental was the pink bike one of the girls ride (CB400SF) and those Katana GSX400 Bikes are EVERYWHERE there.

Also looks like they visit the same place I did...this "Mazda" hang out that's near Izu Skyline. Popular car and bike place to hang.

i gotta watch this.

EDIT: This vid shows the bikes better

Those are 2 of the most boring cartoons I have tried to watch. I don't get the appeal.

I thought this was about anime,
Ghost in the shell
Ninja scroll
Akria
Appleseed

Sent from the Moon!

Didn't they only make them for two years?
92-93, though that might just be for NA, not in the JDM market (They have the CB400SF, yet it wasn't available here) where it would likely last longer due to regs & stuff (Looking at the Wikipedia page for the anime: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bakuon!! , it says one of the characters end up with a customized Ducati 1199 Panigale S, tuned down to attend the Japanese regulations that ban minors from riding bikes with displacements bigger than 400 cc.)

I don't think the 400 Katana was ever sold in North America. I only brought it up because of how jealous I am of being able to having something like that for a commuter

I agree, I'd go for the CB400SF or GSX400 if they were to be sold here. I don't have the experience to have a idea of how fun it would be to drive, but from a insurance standpoint I think they would do OK here in Ontario (Slot in between the 250/300 class & the 600 Class)

I liked the CB400SF (Super Revo) when I rode it in Japan. Even fully laden with luggage it was nimble and comfy.

Though I'd want the model with more fairings. The heat off the engine was atrocious in the Japanese Heat and humidity.

I found them boring. But for Dragonball/Naruto, we read the Manga. Now the kids are more into Anime, and I'm reading One Piece, One Punch Man, Seven Deadly Sins and some others.

For anime, try this one:

All I know about Anime is that my kid spent the weekend at a convention called Anime North.
