USB power and voltmeter - handlebar mount.

I've got a voltmeter on my Magna I think I paid about 20$ at a R/C hobby shop. No external power required I have it directly between my battery + and -. My 12v usb was 9$ from Canadian tire, I just cut off the alligator clips and soldered on some extra wire and some terminals to connect direct to the battery. I got a 2.3A 12v to USB adaptor for a few bucks from the Source. All the power I need!

fits perfect between the bar risers
may be a silly thing
but I like to be able to glance down and see batt voltage
powered socket may be handy too
like MacDoc pointed out, to run a 12V DC air compressor
my bike came std with a power socket
blew the aux fuse trying to run one and had to wire to the battery

I had one similar to one of these, wired direct to battery, worked great, still have it, but not connected to anything just sitting in the tool box
