Hey folks I want to loosen up my subframe. The Haynes manual says not much about this

I just see these bolts but he one on the bottom is a funny looking-one that does not really loosen

It's hard to tell from the pic, but does the centre take an allen key? You may not need to get to the back if that's the case.

No Allen key. It just has a whole. That’s why it’s weird. I turn it have turn but it does not loosen up so has to be a nut

Ok dummy question one
How do I disconnect this terminal It’s the one that is connected to the throttle servo. Those sides do not pinch in

The tab pointed to, is locking against the little crossbar just underneath it. It's entirely possible that there is another tab on the other side.

Some of those are designed for you to push in further down, underneath the little crossbar. Doing so causes the tab being pointed to, to move inwards and release itself from the crossbar.

Some of those are designed for you to squeeze the other part of the connector which forces the little crossbars to move outward and away from the tab pointed to. I think that might be the case for the one at hand.

Sorry, I don't have the ability to add graphics to photos; maybe someone who does (and understands what I'm trying to suggest) can show where you should try squeezing.

So you are saying squeeze the male piece on the sides where the tabs are and pull same time

Got it off! Wow crazy hard
Okay here is where I am now. What more do I need to do to get this black tray out?

Background :

FYI if anyone cares, I bought a cbr600 who my friend laid down twice trying to learn to wheelie ( I don’t wheelie or condone it and actually ride very conservative for the record)

So there is a slight twist to the subframe which I want to straighten with a 2x4 hence the removal of everything

Update

Got more things disconnected

This wire is the only thing left and I don’t want to unwrap all the tape so I am hoping I don’t need to

Okay never mind I kept working

Taking off gas tank disconnected everything that has a connection but one is a straight hose with no “connection”

What is this?

Wraps around and goes into this white piece

Its either a drain, or a vent hose.
Trace where it goes.

It’s goes under the bike .. drain hose right?

Then I can pull right off? Any tips for taking is off easy without damage the hose? I use to use the flat screw head trick years ago but that’s risky business

That's what I'd do. Wiggle it, and twist. Push down with a screwdriver, dental pick, or use needle nose pliers.

I got the tray off 46 degrees so I think I can move the subframe from here

It’s a two piece sub frame I unlocked the back
