Lorenzo To Suzuki?

This seems like a logical move. Let's be honest, Lorenzo's performance at Ducati, to date, has been a complete disaster. He had much better results at Yamaha.

Why does he look like a deer in the headlights?

Interviewer: Why can't you win on the Ducati, what's the hardest part about riding it?

Lorenzo: Turning. It won't turn.

Lol

Makes me wonder if these winglets are a mistake. F1 cars use them to prevent take-off and remain stuck to the ground. An F1 car remains level with the road throughout the whole race tho, whereas a MotoGP bike spends most of its race at angle. Can winglets be balanced when cutting through air on an angle? The answer is yes if the application is a fighter jet as they are computer controlled and adjust by the nanosecond...but a stationary winglet on a bike will cut through the air at much different pressures on each wing. IMHO, that would make the bike unstable.

Lorenzo to Suzuki would be a great move for both!

Dovi can turn the bike just fine

Bad move for Suzuki I think. My impression is that Lorenzo is a real challenge to work alongside.....especially if you are trying to develop and improve your team. He quits too quickly in my opinion.

I disagree. And so does Suzuki.

"Suzuki feels Lorenzo would make for an ideal replacement to Iannone, while the GSX-RR too would suit his riding style."

The GSX-RR like the GSX-R is smooth and easy to ride compared with other bikes. Lorenzo is a smooth rider which is why he's having such a hard time with Ducati...a temperamental bike that has to be fought with and manhandled. Lorenzo is a quiet, smooth, perfectionistic champ...if he gets in the zone with the GSX-RR, I think he will check out and be gone. Suzuki has delivered a competitive bike for the first time in years and is hungrier than ever to be consistently on the podium. I think it's a perfect marriage. Just my opinion tho. I wrote on here at the beginning of the season that Andrea Iannone was a big mistake for Suzuki...took him til threat of being fired in Texas (last race) to actually show up for work. Perhaps I am right about Jorge Lorenzo. I hope it happens. Suzuki coming to the front is good for MotoGP and good for the sport.
