Is it possible to send money from one person to another without anyone else finding out about the money transfer other than the intended recipient? I'm talking zero paper trail here.

As far as I can tell, the only way to do this is with mailing cash or doing something like a Western Union money transfer. This is to help someone out in need. Are there things like refillable money cards like a phone card for example?
Any ideas?

prepaid CC
it will be linked to you
but the recipient can use it anonymously
if you give them the card and the PIN

Gift Card Visa for zero paper trail.

Money Order (Moneygram) at any post office
Bank Draft at any financial institution
Western Union at Walmarts, MoneyMarts and the like
Refillable prepaid credit cards - Capital One secure funds, Titanium Mastercard)
Cash deposit to receivers bank acct - any branch of receiver's bank if you have the branch and acct #s.

Who are you trying to hide the transaction from? Different scenarios can mean different tactics.

bitcoin. Safest, most discreet, etc.

Cash, gift cards, etc can be easily stolen in the mail.

I can think of various scenarios. First to mind is someone on disability that have any and all income monitored and it all affects their benefits. Although I think this may have recently changed, any money they receive must be reported, even if it is a gift.

I just sent some money and Moneygram was the simplest but I had to reverse the transaction because the recipiant wasn't close to a Moneygram outlet, Foreign country.

Went with Western Union but the paperwork was a bit more detailed. However the recipient just has to show up a the WU office with ID EXACTLY the same as on the transmittal slip. They must also have the code # WU gives the sender.

WU is a bit of a pain if it's your first go around but it worked. It also depends on how much you are sending.

Walmart's Western Union terminals were down so I used Cashmoney. Walmart was a total collection of nitwits.

Every single one of those short of the prepaid credit cards do not fit the aforementioned requirement.

Good point. My intention in my question was for no paper trail following the recipient, but it's not an issue for a paper trail back to the sender.

It's all sorted out now:)

Yeah those payday loan places will actually give you a separate debit card to use just so that the government doesn't see it. Don't know how that's legal.

Glad it's sorted.

WU the sender has to identify themselves up the ying yang, name address DL number, occupation, reason for sending, relationship to recipient, years known, etc. The recipient just has to show up with the transaction number and ID with the same exact spelling of the name.

"I'm sending you $100. No wait, it's $93 now. No... $88. $104. $72. $60..."
Sweet I'll hang on to it for a couple days until it's $850
