Riding with Wolves

It's a great vid. Rode out there for three weeks two years ago. Best motorcycling weather in the world. Never rains and even when it's hot the dry air makes it feel comfortable. The only way to do it is to give yourself lots of time, keep a relaxed pace and stay away from the Interstates.

Brilliant cinematography is when you can feel what the photographer / video recorder / is feeling. As Road Ghost stated, it's a magical place to ride, and this total amateur manages to capture that and let you feel that warm air on your skin. The sand on your face. The eerie wild west feeling. I think part of his magic is his simplicity.

From heaven to hell... not that Newfoundland is hell, but man, I would not want to do this ride. Labrador takes its toll on that old bike. Wolves are replaced by bears. Again, some brilliant cinematography which is captured in his YouTube comments. Hard to believe he has so few subscribers!

Sorry, have to agree. Cinematography is technical excellence as well as content. Good ride report, but middle of the road amateur. BBC Blue Planet, Earth etc. series are spectacular. Every shot could make a great desktop background.

The 2nd one posted is a bit better though. Maybe he got better in the year between.
