Return of Ford Nation

This is interesting to watch. If the Star changes it's political slant, you would have to say it's driven by the needs of their business (shifting public politics). So much for journalistic integrity.

My prediction - slim minority win for the PC and things go nowhere with the liberal and NDP holding the balance.

I would say it's been quite opposite of 'same old' for the last few days.
There has still been some trashing, and it's still tends to be people's opinions of the news, rather than the news itself, so we'll have to see if it stays consistent to it's new equilibrium. Unless it's turning 30?

Is this true?

There's alot of double standard from the left, Baggsy. People on the right is a minority. Just look at the posts on this forum & you'll see the hypocrisy.

Polls used to be very reliable....but remember Trump?

Most polls are conducted on old landlines but many people only have cellphones now, many with unlisted numbers.
But it's from the Star! The Star dude!

Maybe they're trying to get more millennials out to vote, which would still be a good thing.

"Much of Wynne’s base comes from millennial voters who reached adulthood after 2000, while Ford is backed by an older crowd, according to the poll.
Millennials are very unreliable when it comes to turning out at the polls and voting, Yufest said."

millenials need to feel they are joining something worthwhile
Wynne will not motivate them, even though they are policy aligned with her

the left outrage over Ford may get them whipped up. but not likely
they're too outraged over the Trump TV show to care about domestic issues
