As the title says,,,where in the Mississauga area, or close by can I get handcuffs

I am not looking for toy stuff or kinky stuff, need the real deal, ones that are Police approved, if that is possible....

They need to be legit, and something that is acceptable to be used by law enforcement...

So I hope some of our current or former officers here can point me in the right direction

Thanks

I bought a set of Peerless cuffs before from an army surplus store (in Kingston IIRC but it's the concept that matters not the actual location).

Haha, I just checked, Amazon.ca sells cuffs. I would go that way. Easy to return if he wants a different style. Just make sure you are getting real cuffs (normally Peerless or S&W) not novelty crap. Expect to pay ~$50.

The cost is not the factor....

I just need to make sure they are the real deal so to speak, and that they can be used in his day to day job.

I know some things civilians are not able to purchase, not sure if cuffs are one of those items, so I wanted to make sure what is purchased is legit and law enforcement approved.

The tip on securitysupplystore is appreciated, I just need to make sure they sell the right stuff...

.

I know you are looking for hand cuffs but have you considered getting him a W10 phone? It will have have a cuffed in feeling.

Lol, are you OK?

Army surplus store. I hope you are acquiring for legal purposes.

What is acceptable ?

is it something an officer has a choice in ?

I am sure officers are issued cuffs, can they use what ever they want ?

This is a present, but I wanted it to be something that can be used on the job in the real world

.

If you're buying a set to give to someone who's becoming or is a police/peace officer, don't waste your $.
Most agencies have strict rules about what equipment is allowed to be used. Even though the cuffs are the same make/model as issue, if they weren't issued to you by your agency... Do not use them.
Liability bla bla bla...

In any case... Hinged are IMHO better.

LMAO. He's buying them for his son. You think he's putting together a kidnapping kit for him?

There is a tactical supply store on Islington, I want to say Islington and North Queen. It is on the west side of Islington and should have hand cuffs or maybe something else that would be a cool gift for someone getting into law enforcement. Good luck.

I can't think of any agency that will allow personal hand cuffs . S econdly can't think of one agency that uses chain not hinged .
