Race / Track bike winter "To-Do" list

My Winter List.
Sell the 2001 GSXR600
Sell one more of the R6's
Finish the rebuild on the 2006 R6 so that it can be raced in lost Era and Pro600
Find a cheap rear shock for the 2001 VFR

Getting my 2006 GSX-R1000 race bike ready for my first full race season:
Remove & re-build water pump - for some reason it started (very slightly) leaking coolant out of the back when I replaced the water with antifreeze.
Replace all coolant hoses - they are starting to look a bit worn out.
Replace air filter
New spark plugs
New brake fluid
Oil & filter change.
Remove rear shock, linkage & swing arm & clean & grease everything replacing bushings/bearings if needed.
Check head bearings - re-grease.
Clean & service the brake callipers.
New tires - this will be my first year on slicks.
Look for a set of wheels for some wet tires to be mounted on.
Replace gas cap with a keyless one.
Have the suspension correctly set up for me (closer to the start of the season) as I WILL lose 40lbs to 50lbs over the winter.

Those are for two different generations...

What year is your gixxer?

EDIT: I see you have an 05.

Heard good things about catalyst but never used it. Most people slag on hotbodies for fitment issues but I've never personally used it. Of the people I know who used hotbodies the feedback was mixed.

There is also Squidskins which is made by a local racer. Benefit of that being easy repairs if you crash it.

Off topic or maybe not. I picked up a new to me 04 R6 with a superbike tail. I want to put a thin piece of foam on it or what have you as it's just bare fibreglass right now.

Any suggestions on where to source one i can make myself or a kit I can buy to stick one on?

List:

Seat Foam
Bleed Brakes
New Rubber
Oil Change and Filter
Fix Minor Lowside Damage in Fairings
Find Replacement Slider Puck
Fix Windshield/Replace
Good Once Over

Bluestreak carries the foam seats. You can also just buy foam and do it yourself from michaels or any other craft place.
