got a reply from KN
they sent me a form to fill out and sign and asked for a pic of the date code and part #.......i sent them the info they asked for...will see what happens..i have 3 of these filters
 
just checked....Yamaha OEM filters are a buck more....guess what i am buying next time :headbang:
given my 15% OFTR discount it will probably be cheaper in the end.

BTW....filled out the paperwork requested by KN ...received my 3 replacement filters by mail....
