Took the new to me drz to Coopers Falls today for her inaugural run. Water crossings and mud everywhere! Fantastic day.

Nice bike

@iceman do you happen to have tracks in that area? Thinking of heading that way this weekend, would be lovely to have some reference points.

Unfortunately no. I've been riding up there for 20 years, learned most of it long before I had a gps. Maybe next time I'll put it on the bike to track some routes.
I'll likely be there Sunday. Water levels will be higher if we get the rain that's forecasted for Saturday.

I can tell you that I usually park here, and ride in from there on Black River Rd. There's tons of trails to explore, but some of the mud/water holes are SERIOUS, if it looks bad, check it first. Some WILL swallow your bike whole.

What's the fuel range of your new bike Jeremy?
Stock tank, likely 140km or so on the roads, all day in the woods. Shouldn't take long to find a bigger tank on Kijiji.
The good thing is I have a 2 bike trailer to explore further from home.

Not bad at all. I'll probably be getting that kind of mileage WITH an IMS tank...
I was thinking about getting a Safari but that would cost me $800 and I couldn't find any used. IMS was $300 new.
I got a little 3l can too, that I'll be strapping to the back just in case.

Save me a spot on that trailer for next season. ;)

But you've got alot more performance for the fuel lol. Trailer is available anytime.
