What would be your custom bike?

Any bike I’ve own is custom to me. Be it paint or engine or suspension or seat and bars etc. I can’t leave it alone.

For a “custom” bike, it would have to be its own frame and engine build with one off bits.

Nothing like those chopper build from West Coast or Orange County.

Want it to ride nice, handle nice, look good and be reliable.

I think a nice cafe or bobber that has classic line and never goes out of style. Even when the owner eventually does.

That's why I think a well designed kit bike like a mild chopper or bobber would do the trick for me. S&S midrange motor with a good 6 speed transmission. Mid height bars, not above my shoulders, but enough that I can lean back or atleast stay upright instead of forward.

small french company is building Brough Superior reproductions. Not practical, reliable or even affordable for mere mortals. I want one.
