Tom Petty is gone

Feel completely gutted at this moment. He was the soundtrack to my youth. One of the reasons I had Sirius XM was because of his Buried Treasure show

"Buy me a drink, sing me a song, Take me as I come 'cause I can't stay long"
 
RIP, Just seen him at the ACC too, the show was fantastic.

Another great lost this year.

Netflix has a Tom Petty documentary that was really enjoyable.

I've been enjoying some of his music recently.


Sad news. Finding I'm at the age where a lot of iconic people are passing away.

I listened to a short radio show early this am, you forget how many other artists say there music had a lot to do with Tom Petty influence
 
Listened on his channel on SXM while driving in. It's amazing how active he was with community and environmental issues and protecting artists rights, but did it all quietly with no ego or fanfare.

Gone much too soon but will always be with us in his music

Enjoyed his commercial hits, never had the pleasure to see him in concert. 66? Much too young.

RIP Tom. Great musician, and loved watching him in concert the 2 times I went to see him. Another great one gone.
