In case you wait for what seems to be enough, then go through,
then are stopped by a cop, here are three things to remember.

    1. If the cop invites you to place your motorcycle where it did not trigger the light, refuse to do this,
even if he (a woman would not act this way) threatens to issue a ticket if you do not obey him.

    2. If the cop asks you how long you waited, just say, "long enough to be sure the light was malfunctioning."
DO NOT volunteer a time period, no matter how much the cop nags you to do so. (Reason is below.)

    3. If you are charged, defend the charge, and when given an opportunity to question the cop,
ASK THE COP WHAT INTERVAL IS APPROPRIATE. Later, you get an opportunity to testify concerning your actions,
and explain that you waited at least as long as the cop suggested. Ta-DAA!

Good luck. A lot of lights in my home town do not notice my CBR-125.

The three dots are everywhere in Toronto.
