I'm trying to do my M1 at Downview but there's options unless "LM" is another way of saying M1.
If the vehicle was manufactured before September 1, 1988, and does not have a label, it is a limited-speed motorcycle if it has all of the following characteristics:
- Minimum attainable speed of 32 km/h on level ground within 1.6 kilometres from a standing start
- Maximum speed of 70 km/h or less
- Steering handlebars that are completely restrained from rotating in relation to the axle of only one wheel in contact with the ground
- Minimum seat height, when not laden, of 650 millimetres
- Minimum wheel-rim diameter of 250 millimetres
- Minimum wheelbase of 1,016 millimetres
- Engine displacement of 50 cubic centimetres or less
That's still pretty good for a 125. And still not a Low Speed Motorcycle. The 167KPH Grom is far from stock.
In general, most Grom owners report struggling to get to 65MPH, or just slightly over 100KPH.
Not to hijack the thread, but is that true? My GZ250 topped out at 110kmph.

my old CBX250 topped out at 120km/h. Real world stats, not manufacture brochure stats.

I think 167 km/h is definitely possible for a Grom.
If it was dropped out of an airplane.
