Introduction + request

Just picked up a great project, 1985 Honda Cb650 Nighthawk that I would like to work on for the next season. Been riding on and off for 3 years, this will be my first project that I so solo and I am excited to get to working on this baby.

Anyone know any welders in Toronto that make house calls?

Not a lot of parts online for these bikes, so I am hoping we have some experts here to lend a hand every now and then.

will be hundreds of mobile welders
anyone thats good, a journeyperson, with own tooling and truck
will be around 150/hour minimum

would be more affordable to bring parts to a shop

What needs welded? If it is not structural (eg fenders not swingarm) projects are a great opportunities to learn new skills. A grinder can fix many boogers.

I started on a nighthawk 450. It is fun to see how things improve as you make changes.

What are you plans for the bike? Mechanical refresh/bobber/franken bike?
