GBM lapping this Thursday evening starts at 4:30pm

Just an FYI the days are getting shorter as we approach the end of summer (man that was fast) and running to 9pm isn't safe or feasible so we have moved the times up by 1/2 hr for the balance of August so the lapping program will be from 4:30pm to 8:30pm starting with this Thursday evening Aug 17th( Sept dates will start at 4pm)

The layout for this Thurs is MODIFIED. We have a large dragway rental on Friday morning so a number of participants will be coming in Thursday evening so this is the best configuration to run for everyone's safety. It is also the next SOAR race layout so you can get some extra practice before the following wkds race.

Currently our registrations for tomorrow nights lapping stands at 6. No doubt tomorrows forecast has affected this (forecast is possible Thunderstorm in the area around 4pm). So we will assess the situation tomorrow and make a final call early afternoon as to whether it is a go or no go. (If we are still at 6 going into tomorrow afternoon it will be a no go regardless) Everyone will be contacted if we have to cancel.

For the record I am scheduled and plan on cancelling if its wet. Brad.

Lapping for this evening is being cancelled. It is raining on and off now plus all forecasts are leaning to 70% or higher than it will rain this evening. No charges will be put on anyone's cards.
