Left turn at the lights

This is my general rule as well. I tend to hang out in the left tire track and don't go much further then the pedestrian crossing until I can see it's clear to go.

To be fair it's just cabs in particular. They all suck, without fail. At that same intersection, had a cab pull up behind me while I was waiting for the light to turn green. I was going straight. He was making a right, and honked at me to get out of his way. Uh, no, dipshit, I'm a vehicle and in a properly stopped and safe position. I'm not going to compromise that for your turn so you can get an extra 20s on your trip.
