My Algonquin's Day Trip - June 17, 2017

Nice! The turtle you encountered looks vicious compared to the one I came across.
That's because he found what appears to be a snapping turtle. They can be pretty nasty, fairly easy to lose a finger.
Nice write-ups guys.

Beside that storm it looks like you had great time ... sometime is much better going alone, on your schedule and pace. Thanks for sharing.

Nice. I didn't know what type of bike to expect you to be on, turns out we have (nearly) the same bike.
Which rear seat bag is that? I have a super small one for my lunch bag, but literally only holds that.

Jesus that looks 10-12" tall. And only $100.
Is it weatherproof?

Yes, it came with a big waterproof cover. I bought the entire bag for $12 off kijiji :). Best 12 dollars ever spent. The setup can be used as a backpack. Or tank bag and tail bag, which I have now.

need to see more posts like this

Great write up. Nice bike as well.....who says ss bikes can't tour! Living in the north (North Bay) I often take for granted some of the benefits of living up here....good to see others appreciate it.
