New Rider, what should I ask for before buying a used motorcycle from private owner?

Hi there,

My name is Bash, a new rider who's just got my M2 license. I've been driving back home but now I'm more into doing it the right way! Meanwhile I'm shopping the market, looking for a used motorcycle to start with. Could anyone tell me if there's a list of things to check before buying a motorbike, questions that I must ask the owner in case of a private owner not a dealer, documents to request, etc..
