No it's a warmup to the M1 exit.
Basically, the first 4 1/2 lessons from gearing up.
The ideas behind it being that someone that wasn't sure about motorcycling, could take this course even before getting their M1 or a motorcycle, and decide if it's for them.
Also, it gives a leg up on the M1 exit course, as it is slower paced, and takes time going through the friction zone, and getting the bike to move, which some people have difficulty with in the M1X.
It only goes to slowly moving in first gear, and there's no evaluation, so a license isn't required. Obviously, if you've been riding dirt bikes for years, then this isn't for you, and would probably be frustrating. The big thing is to have people get the bike moving smoothly without stalling.
But It seems that some people who would benefit from this type of course, don't know that it exists.
M2X would be it's own course, as would an Experienced Rider course.
