Cleaning rear sprocket

I use good old cheap kerosene to clean the chain and it works like a charm but my sprocket is so dirty black and has black stains all over it. I want it to look like brand new silver clean sprockets but kerosene doesn't seem to take off the black stains like it does on chain. Should've cleaned the sprockets everytime I cleaned the chain :(

WD40 and a toothbrush

Chain cleaner.
Buy some. Treat yourself once in a while. Hahaha

If it's like the OEM sprocket on my Yamaha's, that thing is impossible to clean. No amount of scrubbing and swearing will clean it. It just looks like I'm spreading the grease around
