"A 56-year-old Waterloo man has died after his motorcycle hit a pickup truck.

The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Westmount Road and Glasgow Street.
The pickup was stopped at a red light when the motorcycle ran into back of the truck.

Witnesses told police the motorcycle was going at a high rate of speed.

The man was later pronounced dead in hospital."

I was driving by this intersection very soon after this accident. Not a good scene, this is very sad to see this update.

I am confused because Sunday there was a bike lying down on the road at the same intersection with a couple police cars there, two accidents in two days?
 
Very tragic...shouldn't have happened. RIP Rider.
