Hello everyone,

Got my G2 last summer, now thinking of purchasing a bike.
Could any of you recommend a good beginner cruising bike for a tall rider (6'3) ?
Or should I stay with sports until i get more experience ?
Someone told me that cruisers are harder to ride.


I was looking at Kawasaki Vulcan 500, but they don't make them no more.
Will i have problems when looking for parts ?

Cruisers are harder to ride? Don't think so. Just different.
Nothing wrong with a bike that is not in production. I would think that the Vulcan should have parts aplenty. I'm partial to the Shadows though ?.

While doing the MSF course.. Someone might have mentioned that cruisers are harder to perform slow speed manouvers on .. Especially when starting out.. Due to low ground clearance.... Heavier weight and awkward riding position


Overall they are nice bikes to ride and might be cheaper on insurance as well
